I’m Steve White.

For over 30 years, I’ve worked as Chair, CEO, Board Director & Strategic Advisor across mining, energy, infrastructure, technology, and complex operating businesses.

I've seen many ideas, projects and capital either come together - or fall apart.

Across that time, I’ve raised capital globally, sat on more than 35 boards, founded multiple businesses, and currently serve as a Director of a $4B+ green fuels project, while separately heading the commercialisation of a technology spin-out from one of Australia’s major universities and advising on a NASDAQ listing.

I understand how opportunities are assessed when optimism gives way to scrutiny - because I've been on both sides of that table.

Today, I work with founders, CEOs, and investors who need to cut through complexity, clarify what matters, and align the elements required to make opportunities bankable - before time, capital, or credibility are unnecessarily consumed.

I work quietly, directly, and with discretion - typically at moments where clarity is most valuable.

What “bankable” actually means

Bankable isn't about optimistic projections or compelling stories.

It's an opportunity that survives scrutiny

when the hard questions get asked.

In practice, it comes down to whether a small number of critical things

are genuinely clear at the same time.

What the opportunity really is.

Where the risks sit.

How it will be executed.

And whether the capital structure reflects reality.

When those elements are aligned, confidence follows.

When they aren’t, it shows - quickly.

What I Do

I work in situations where the stakes are real and the margin for error is thin - typically where capital, timing, and execution all need to line up at once.

What varies is the context in which it shows up.

Complex Projects

Mining, energy, infrastructure, and technology projects at moments where capital alignment is critical - early-stage, Series A, pre-FID, or under stress. Often these are projects with strong fundamentals that have stalled because structure, risk, and execution haven’t yet come together in a way capital can support.

Capital Raises & Exits

Founder/CEO-led situations where a business is approaching growth capital, strategic investment, or exit - and needs to withstand external scrutiny before decisions are made. This is often less about ambition, and more about readiness.

Buy-Side Assessment

Independent perspective for investors and acquirers assessing opportunities that don’t quite add up yet - where the question isn’t “is this interesting?”, but “does this really hold together?”

This is a focused engagement designed for a specific moment - when clarity is needed around a decision, a transaction, or a path forward.

The work is scoped tightly at the outset.

It’s time-bound by design.

And it concludes once clarity has been established and decisions can be made with confidence.

Engagements are limited.

Not every situation is a fit.
